Popis - THE COMPLETE WESTBOUND RECORDINGS 1973-76:
Junie Morrison (who sadly passed away in early 2017) is probably best known as a key architect of the Ohio Players' funk sound in the early '70s, and later as a member of Funkadelic. This remastered, 34-track DOUBLE-CD compiles his mid-'70s solo recordings for Westbound, including the albums 'When We Do', 'Freeze' and 'Suzie Super Groupie', plus non-album B-sides and the odd rare cut. Also included are Kanye West's sample of 'Suzie Thundertussy', alongside tracks sampled by DJ Shadow, J Dilla, Madlib and others. The booklet features in-depth notes and a full discography.
