Founded in 2004, Finsterforst starting as a folk metal act with high usage of accordion, and the band has evolved its sound to some kind of epic and cinematic mix of post, post black, black and folk metal featuring an enormous range of different singing styles and heavy riffing. During the covid pandemic Finsterforst asked their fans to help fund an EP. The fans came to help, and 'Jenseits' is the result. The mini album has only one song clocking in at almost 40 minutes, divided into four chapters.
