The Ray Sparks is proud to release our debut and self titled offering. The Ray Sparks Band out of Moulton, Alabama, features music from the 50s, 60s, & 70s and specializes in Corporate and Wedding entertainment. RSB features a broad musical selection with Ray Sparks, Dwight Coffey, and Richard Thompson on the vocals. The rhythm section is held down by Kell Whitlow on the drums, Scott Sanderson on the bass, and Brandon Denton on the electric guitar. See more at: http://www.raysparksband.com/ Staci - Recently I hosted a 1950s-themed 50th birthday party for my husband, Rick, featuring the Ray Sparks Band. What a great decision! These guys are as talented as they are kind and conscientious. We went all out for the party with costumes, catering, decor' and a fancy cake -- and Rick and I agree that the best part of the event was the Ray Sparks Band. The price was reasonable, they showed up early and had fun right along with all of us. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Callie and Ben Hornbuckle - My husband and I worked with Ray Sparks band for our wedding day last September and they honestly were by far the best part of our reception. Not only do they sound great, but they are very accommodating and enjoyable to work with. They had a great variety of music to play and learned some of my very own favorite songs which really made our night special. They were always available, and nice I might add, when I needed to discuss anything with them via phone since I was actually planning my wedding from out of town. They made a huge impact on turning our reception into a fun night which is exactly how we wanted it. We cannot rave enough about this band and what a pleasure it was for them to be a part of our wedding day! Danny and Cathy Dutton - We had the Ray Sparks Band play for our son's wedding reception and they were absolutely wonderful. They began playing as soon as the first guest arrived at the reception and played until the last guest left (no breaks, continual music). The bride and groom were allowed to pick three songs which they learned especially for them and they did a great job on these. We had all ages there and the music was fun for EVERYONE. The young and old alike enjoyed this group, they were so much fun and made the evening so enjoyable. It was wonderful to see young people and older people all together on the dance floor. Music was appropriate for all. Will hire them again and again!!! Nancy Pinion - The Ray Sparks Band performed for our 50th Wedding Celebration in August. What a great choice! These guys are THE BEST...an awesome group of performers!! Some guests enjoyed listening but most (from age 7 to 80) were drawn to the dance floor. A variety of music appealed to all ages and dance preferences. We enjoyed everything from 'slow dancing', to the Electric Slide, to the Twist, to the train. A memorable fun night for all in attendance...thanks to the band. I highly recommend them and am more than confident that you will NOT be disappointed! I give them a ten on a scale of one to ten. :) Jimmy Sykes - We had the pleasure of having the Ray Sparks Band at Sykes Place on Aug. 16th. Everything went great. The load in and load out went smooth. The music was great and the guest really enjoyed the band. I would recommend them highly for your event. Katy Beth - This band played at our wedding in Destin, Florida and we could not have been more pleased with their performance, professionalism, and entertainment. From the beginning, they worked directly with the reception venue to coordinate sound and lighting. This was a relief for me as the bride, since it was one less thing I had to worry about. They learned two songs at our request, one was a JJGrey and Mofro song that we danced to our first dance and another was for the groom and his mother's dance. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the band at the reception! The dance floor was always filled with people of all ages. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band. The Ray Sparks Band exceeded all expectations we had for a band and helped make our reception fun for everyone! David Norwood - WALW-FM - We have used the Ray Sparks Band several times over the ten years we have been on the air for various live music settings. Every performance has been great and has always been well attended. Their combination of song selection, musicianship, tight harmonies and strong stage presence guarantees a great live music event. Leah Newton Mayor, Town of Anderson - We had the Ray Sparks Band for our Founders Day Event in May this year. I don’t have enough good things to say about this band. They are very professional, prompt, and on top of things with the planning and details. I so enjoyed working with them! They are very entertaining!!! They play music that everyone loves! This is a band that every age group will truly enjoy! Everyone had a great time, and had nothing but great things to say about them and wanted to know how to contact them themselves for their own personal events. I will definitely have them back in Anderson for future events!
