The Meridian Brothers is the name of a Colombian band that was
founded in 1998 by Eblis Alvarez, a pioneering musician in
Bogota's alternative music scene. The band is inspired by both
Latin rock (Colombian, Argentinian and Mexican) and Brazilian
Tropicalia. Having put those influencs in a "psychedelic
mangler", the result is a fairly unique and irristable swinging
cocktail.
