Seeing Van Halen in the 1980s was a mammoth live concert event. While fans can eternally argue over which line-up of Van Halen was the best, no-one could deny the sheer entertainment value of seeing or hearing the early line-up live on stage together. By the start of the 1980s, following a string of multi-Platinum albums and electric live performances, Van Halen were an unstoppable force. Their 1982 album 'Diver Down' followed peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard chart and went four times Platinum in the U.S. alone. In support of the album, the group toured worldwide through 1982 and 1983 including their first and only visit to South America. Timeline proudly presents a historic performance from Van Halen, live in Montevideo, Uruguay, at the Cilindro Municipal facilities, on the last date of their tour across Latin America.
