Edition on BLACK VINYL. These eight Hollywood-based veterans play their own versions of 1960s and '70s soul/r'n'b songs from the likes of Solomon Burke, Rex Garvin and Big Mama Thornton. The musicians rearrange the songs to showcase their individual specialties, while keeping the essentials of the material in place, particularly the non-stop danceable rhythms.
