Jackson VanHorn's solo musical venture began after the disbanding of previous bands TV Ghost and Phases. After a slew of demos, self-recorded singles, a mini LP, Jackson VanHorn's musical craft came with the release of the debut full-length, 'After The Rehearsal'. The follow-up 'A Silent Understanding' continues that craft by merging literary and cinematic influences with philosophical attentiveness. The album explores the collapse of the individual within the context of a contemporary capitalist society, capturing the despondency and darkness felt by its widespread effects.
