This is the first-ever vinyl reissue of Ruedi Häusermann's 'Galerie Randolph', a masterpiece of solo multi-tracking originally released on CD by Unit Records in 1995. A virtuoso wind player and free improviser who also composes for traditional classical instrumentation, his work is characterised by subtly surreal humour and the unlikely combination of extended technique and simple, at times almost child-like, melodic ideas. Almost unknown except to a select group of producers such as Jim O'Rourke, yet destined to become a cult classic, 'Galerie Randolph' is an instance of that most rare thing: music the likes of which you have never heard before.
