available on hard-to-find cassettes put out by the Birdfriend tape label. Expect fractured rhythms and future-now timbres, questing intelligences and D.I.Y. energy, conveyed to you through hand-made synths, custom electronics, synths and
samplers. The selection was made by Japanese musician/composer Koshiro Hino (a.k.a. YPY), who is a founding member of the Osaka-based band Goat and also in charge of Birdfriend. Featured artists include Futoshi Motiyama, UNBE, OPQ, Micro Futoshi, Bonnounomukuro, H. Takahashi, YPY, Sofheso, New Manuke, Shimettainu a.m.m.
