Meteor Vortex is an instrumental heavy psych/space rock/stoner rock power trio from the city of Kouvola, Finland. Band's influences vary among the field of stoner-, space- and psych-rock, and influences of bands such as Earthless, Hawkwind, Electric Moon and Hidria Spacefolk can be spotted. Overall, the sound is little bit tilted towards the European-style psychedelic rock instead of approaches that are more common in Finland and other Nordic countries when it comes to related genres. It's typical for the band's songs to be of jam-principle, somewhat lengthy, repetitive, evolving, meditative and captivating. Limited to 100 copies on 180 gram vinyl.
