ALEA JACTA EST is a metal/hardcore band formed in Toulouse in 2006. They hit the ground running, releasing a 3-track demo and touring by 2007. Following the demo, they released a split with Fat Ass in 2009, toured France, and released their debut album GLORIA VICTIS in 2010. This was released worldwide, picked up by labels in Russia, South-East Asia, USA and Europe. Following a string of European dates and tours - even going as far as Morocco and Turkey - a vinyl version of GLORIA VICTIS saw the light of day in 2012. The release was met with yet another relentless touring schedule, including a cold Russia in early 2013. They returned to the studio in the summer to record VAE VICTIS, originally released in April 2014.
