This is where the songs of her seventh album 'Silence Is Rising' were created over the course of two years. Outwardly, the album is full of subtile details and jazz references, powered by funky rhythms and dreamy electronics. Below the surface, Cutler openly deals with her own mortality, with tragedies, small miracles and loneliness resulting from her creative independence.
