Mid '70s "lost" live broadcast recordings of Finnish jazz legends Piirpauke, which can be been considered one of the very first "world music" groups, and thus way ahead of its time, and the Tapio Tuominen Trio who where influenced by the early American Jazz style. Both Pori and Tapiola Big Bands are still very active and have a long history behind them. These on-air live performances in the legendary 'Jazz-Liisa' series date back to 1975 and 1976 and include many household names in Finnish jazz in their ranks, such as Paroni Paakkunainen and Seppo Tyni.
