Popis - CHI SI SALVERA:
In a few simple words Elena Rimoldi, songwriter of Milan, describes the feelings that surely many have lived, crossing irony and drama, light-heartedness and depth. Each sentence of the texts present on the debut album of Elena are a photograph, and at the same time a voice, sometimes to represent the human being between fragility and strength, including strengths and weaknesses, confessions, questions in search of answers. To accompany these questions everyday Elena Rimoldi has composed, sometimes on the floor and sometimes on guitar, melodies and harmonies with lightness and beauty that transport the listener to reflect on the issues that come in the soul, because they are part of us all ; impossible not to identify with any of the songs written for this heard debut album. Elena grew up listening to Ani Di Franco, Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen, Tori Amos, as well as the successes of Lucio Battisti and Mogol, Rita Pavone, but also Radiohead, Queen, REM, Nirvana and Metallica; his music is timeless, with a wink to songwriting as well as an elegant commercial pop, a formula always valid and always appreciated by the public, outside of the fads. Among the contributors are Luke Chiaravalli (Ramazzotti, Renga, Hooverphonic), John Pollastri (Lou Reed) and Philadelphus Castro (Dodi Battaglia, Cat Power).
