The first LP by this young amazing duo from Rome! The band consists of Gustav Gabor (guitar, vocals) and Mary-Jane (keyboards, tape echo, drum machine and occasional vocals) Berlenbach and they use to call themselves brother and sister.
Their beautiful haunting sound features a personal melting of no/new-wave/DIY influences and old-fashioned-chanson with morbid and sexual twist in them. 8 catchy and punchy numbers, combining the (damaged) punk-attitude of Gustav's sharp-edged guitar, the essential electro beat and synth grooves by Mary-Jane, and their perfectly blending vocals. If you can, imagine the Throbbing Gristle of 'United' crossing the early Suicide sound with the moody atmosphere (gone bad) of the Gainsbourg/Birkin works. A killer debut albm.
