CD reissue of the follow-up to Jacqueline Thibault's (Laurence Vanay) 1976 album 'Evening Colours'. 'Les Soleils De La Vie' (or 'The Suns Of Life') was recorded with the help of her perpetual musical accomplices Serge Derrien (guitar, flute, wordless vocals) and John Chevalier (a.k.a. Popov) on drums and percussion. Despite interest from Decca Records the album remained unreleased at the time. Now these shimmering, mysterious, sometimes funky, deeply emotional examples of musical beguilement are available for the world.
