A stunning TRIPLE-CD collection of rare and unissued recordings from the vaults of Holland's most legendary garage band, THE OUTSIDERS! This deluxe set consists of studio demos from January 1966, including early run-throughs of their hit 'Lying All The Time', live material (recorded in Breda, February 1967), a raft of demos and alternate takes from their 'CQ' album sessions in 1968, and a trove of unreleased tracks by Wally Tax's post-Outsiders combo Tax Free. The set is packaged with a lavish 20-page booklet loaded with session information, rare photos and epherema and liner notes by Ugly Things' Mike Stax. The 20 tracks on DISC 1 include live stuff, unreleased mono versions of well known songs, and an interview with Wally Tax. The 20 tracks on DISC 2 round up instrumental and vocal versions of well (and less) known songs. The 20 tracks on DISC 3 offer more instrumental and vocal versions (a.o. of Tax Free-material), an interview with the band, and Wally's welcome message on his answering machine. All tracks are remastered from the original tapes. This gorgeous release is presented in a 3CD gatefold digi-pack.
