Formed in 1981, Ausweis is one of the greatest French punk/cold wave bands. In 1984 they released their only LP, 'Ausweis'. In 1985 the track 'Ella Choice' was featured on the 'V.i.S.A Présente' compilation tape, and the same year they released their first 12-inch 'Victime' as well as a live tape. Then 1986 a second 12-inch followed, 'Jour De Haine'. Soon after they released their only 7-inch 'Pas Demain'. These are all compiled on this 2CD set. All tracks are remastered and appear on CD for the first time.
