Popis - VIOLINIZER:
Peppe Giannuzzi, born in 1971, is known as ?the Satriani of violin?. His attitude towards his instrument led him to cross the borders of the tradition, and, together with his creativity, he defined his own personal sound. He studied Viola at Conservatorio T. Schipa in Lecce, south of Italy, and choosed to follow an alternative way to play his instrument to offer a different kind of art, a melting pot of his rock reminiscences with world and ambient music, together with the musical tradition of his native earth Salento (pizzica). He shared the stage with Stewart Copeland (The Police?s drummer) playing with him on La Notte Della Taranta Ensemble project, touring Italy as well as taking part of some of the most renowned international festivals in Switzerland, Portugal, Spain and recently in Brazil at the PercPan Festival in San Paolo). Peppe collaborated also with well-known Italian artists such as Vittorio Cosma and Mauro Pagani (both musicians involved in the renowned Italian prog-rock band PFM), with whom he played at La Notte Della Taranta Festival in 2007; in 2008 he shared the stage with Modena City Ramblers, one of the most important italian folk-rock band. Beyond working at his own solo record, he?s playing with the band FRACMIRE?, coming from experiences with other bands such as SU? d?EST Cantierisuoni, ARTETIKA, AVLEDDHA (with whom he released the album ?Ofid?a?) and took part of the release of the single "POLVERE E SILENZIO" together with Treble aka Lu Professore, included in the soundtrack of the movie FINE PENA MAI (2007, directed by Davide Barletti). Violinizer It?s not easy to define ?Violinizer? but at the same time you immediately get confident to it since the first listening. It?s a journey through rock, pop, blues and country turned into cinematic sonic landscapes, always with a common denomitator: his violin.Peppe can lead the groove, but he never forgets that each instrument needs his own spot, leaving the right space to drums, bass, keyboard and g
