Popis - HAWKLORDS, FRIENDS AND RELATIONS: THE 30TH ANNIVER:
Here we are: a new HFAR to celebrate the release of volume one, way back in October 1981. I think this must be the 12th volume so we have not been turning them out like any old compilations. This new one is packed with new and unreleased material: from a track by the original line-up of Gunslinger never before heard to a taste of Steve Swindells iconic, unreleased ?Lost Albums? in ?Outlaw?. Also, this album is full of unexpected guests: Jon Moss of Culture Club, Winston Blissett who has played with Massive Attack, Robbie Williams to name jut two, Simon House who played with David Bowie for many years, Daevid Allen former member and leader of Gong and many ex-Hawkwind and current Hawklords. But for me, the real jewel is the unreleased track from Bob Calvert: the man who wrote ?Silver Machine?, who was the spirit of The Hawklords, still manages to amaze us all from beyond the grave. He was a true genius, the kind of man you work with once in your life-time if you are lucky. This New Dawn is for Bob.
