The band was born in the first half of the 70 "in the middle of the decade changed formation and name, assuming its present name "Sezione Frenante " (Section Braking). The group, after opening by Orme, Biglietto per L?Inferno, Ibis, Titot Schipa, and suspended its activities as a homogeneous entity and the members walked out of different artistic. With the emergence of the new millennium, slowly came to life the idea of re-"the complete works" composed of "Sezione Frenante" many years ago and before that had given life to the composition inspired by the fantastic journey of the poet Dante Alighieri. Born so "Metafora di un Viaggio" a concept album, a single long speech through unknown lands populated by fantastic images at once terrible and beautiful, at the same time solar and merciful, when it has come to maturity in life. Musically the disc is absolutely in line with the sound of the 70?s and in particular with that of the first half. The collaboration with Aldo Tagliapietra had for years, a friend and frequent guest in the concerts of the group, it comes very close to the idea of "Felona e Sorona" but also flashes of the inn, ticket and PFM are present in the musicality of the group, which is still very personal and totally tied to the prg more symphonic.
