Michael Murphy has studied music for twenty years following such artists as Yanni, David Lanz, John Tesh, Alan Menkein, Stephen Schwartz, John Williams, Mark Manicina and others. He attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida for his last two years of high school. Since then he has graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. He married his high school sweet heart in October of 2008 and is currently in the process of opening a restaurant in Jacksonville (www.washboardsrestaurant.com). Michael still finds the time to write music and is currently working on three new albums.
