Popis - LIVE AT THE GLASSHOUSE (SMGO#1:
Agent M's combination of talent, beauty, and confidence leave her unmatched in the music scene today. Beyond a role model, Agent M will show you why she is such an inspiration to her fans while her band rocks the mosh pit into oblivion. Darkness, thudding drums and the lights come up, Agent M in a white cut back Smiths tee-shirt shouts head first into 'El Diablo', a track from their first LP 'The Ultimate Escape'. A sweat is already building on the crowd before the second track, a Metalica sounding 'The Invasion From Within', kicks into its fist thumping chorus. M greets the crowd in the usual band crowd antics before opening the first of the new material 'My Machete'. The gig was filmed on the last night of their seven week US Definitive Act Tour in the Glasshouse, Pomona in California and the crowd are happy to see them. On 'Say It if You Mean It' M gets the crowd into the chorus, the lights are flashing and Gabe is green for the duration. 'Breakaway' is loud and an anthem of epic proportions but quickly turns into the foot stomping jumping catchiness of 'No One's Looking'. Each of these short wonders hardly gives the crowd a chance to catch their breath before the next onslaught of screeching guitars and thundering drums. 'Safety Song' sounds right out of a Green Day gig and is a fantastic crowd pleaser, Matt and Mike even get to below and chant away. 'No Good Very Bad Day' is something Sum 41 would be proud of. Before you know it it's time for the encore, an hour passes by so quickly before you notice it but not before 'Count Me Out' is bellowed out to give Tarrie B nightmares and finally 'Not Forever' serves more than a wake up call to Gwen Stefani as she could never be this ass-kicking good. Agent M should give Brody Dalle a run for the money on Punk Rock Queen title and full credit to the quartet for what looks like a great night out. The commentary by the band is pretty funky, it's a frame within frame, throughout the gig with the band watching it in a corner of the screen. Multi angle displays are available for an eight-camera set up on the extra featuring 'Dawn of a Funeral Day', 'No Good Very Bad Day' and 'Take The Reigns'. 'Tsunami TV' is a fun behind the scenes extra with home movies of sleeping members to rough footage of live in Chicago to general fun escapades. It's a brief but fulfilling warts an all feel. There are plenty of trailers and web links to other Kung Fu Film productions and 'Cake Boy' has now earned itself a mention on my to get pile !
