DETHRONE is a Swedish thrash/death metal band that was founded in the summer of 2011. Their music goes against the new wave of metalcore and deathcore, and focuses more on intensive and head-on metal inspired by bands like The Haunted (early), The Crown, Defleshed or Witchery instead. The band played at Metaltown festival 2012 after being chosen by Close-Up Magazine as one of Sweden?s best unsigned band. They were handpicked for a competition to play at Wacken, and were one of the top 6 bands in a competition to play at Summer Breeze 2012. DETHRONE released their first full-length album entitled "Humanity" in March 2013 through Hoborec & Sound Pollution, which received great reviews. The follow-up to the band?s debut is entitled "Incinerate All", and will be released on January 22, 2016 through Massacre Records.
